About Synergy Pilates

We are a boutique style, full-service Pilates studio offering Private, Semi-Private, Trio and Small Group Instruction.  We also offer online mat instruction for those who are on the go.  Our intimate setting provide for more individualized instruction to better address your personal needs and goals.  At Synergy, we believe in making form our primary focus wile making the most out of each exercise and workout.

What is Pilates?


Pilates is a method of exercise based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates.  Pilates strengthens muscles, increases flexibility, and improves postural alignment, coordination and balance.  Pilates has also shown to be remarkably effective in assisting with recovery from a wide array of injuries.  The exercises are designed to promote proper alignment and balanced strength by creating resistance using springs, ropes and pulleys to both stretch and strengthen muscles.  The exercises are done with control and precision, emphasizing core strength - strengthening of the pelvic floor, abdomen and back - to develop overall strength, increase flexibility and improve posture.  Mind-body exercises like Pilates focus on the mental connection to physical movements and teaches clients to become more attuned to their bodies.


Pilates methods and principals can be applied and instructed in a variety of ways.  At Synergy, we practice Pilates on the mat, Reformer, Cadillac/Tower and the Stability Chair allowing our instructors to meet the individual needs of all of our clients.
